Alumni Picnic 2010
Date: April 17, 2010 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM


Please join us for the 2010 ZBT alumni picnic. With a successful and newly chartered chapter, we are looking to step up our alumni relations program, and what better way to do that than to recreate the good times had by alumni and families at the alumni picnic series from 2001-2004. We hope you can join us for the renewal of a ZBT alumni favorite.

Mu Colony Installation
Date: March 08, 2010 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
    

Please join us as Xi Chapter hosts the installation ceremony for the new Mu Colony of ZBT at the University of Georgia. This event will initiate these new brothers and formalize their status as a new colony of Zeta Beta Tau. In addition, it will re-establish the historic relationship between Xi and Mu, which dates back to 1916, when Mu Chapter served as host for the installation of the new Xi Chapter. This is a brothers-only event (coat and tie).

Carrying the Philanthropic Spirit in Their Alumni Years


Douglas Ramsay '82 writes "Peter Estelle and myself, both of Xi Chapter c 1982 raised over £8,000 ($15,000) for a UK Charity by cycling the length of Great Britain from Lands End in the south of England to John O'Groats in the north of Scotland
(just over 1,000 miles) in 10 days. In this photo, I'm on the left, Peter is in the middle and our UK friend Nick Tarling is on the  right."

Alvin Ferst ’43 Passes to the Chapter Eternal


The name Ferst has strong connections to Georgia Tech, with a long history of family members who attended Tech and who provided support to the school after graduation. Alvin Ferst ’43 was one member of this family. While in school, he was a member and president of Phi Epsilon Pi and was very active as an alumnus. Frater Ferst passed away on September 30, 2009, at the age of eighty-seven.
